What is the Pomodoro Technique?

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks.

How to Use This App

  1. Choose a task you want to work on
  2. Set the timer (Focus mode)
  3. Work on the task until the timer rings
  4. Take a short break (5 minutes)
  5. After completing four "Pomodoros," take a longer break (10-15 minutes)
